Omnyfy and Mirvac partnered to deliver a fast-to-market multi-vendor marketplace solution for Mirvac which would enable it to respond rapidly to the Covid19 crisis and the impact on Shopping Centre retailers across its portfolio in Australia.
Mirvac needed a solution that offered customers the ability to place orders online and have their ordered loaded into their cars through the designated drive-through point at the Shopping Centre in order to facilitate truly contact-less pick-up.
The solution had to be ready and live in one week, from conception to launch.
What we did
In what was our fastest delivery to market, Omnyfy designed and launched a complete end-to-end multi-vendor marketplace solution for Mirvac in under 7 days.
Working with Mirvac’s Moonee Ponds Central and National Marketing teams, Omnyfy designed and implemented a click-and-collect marketplace which allowed retailers at the centre to load products and launch the marketplace enabling customers to shop online and pick-up in store.
The solution enables customers to buy from multiple retail stores in a single order. Each retailer receives a notification on their integrated iPad App, similar to Deliveroo or Uber Eats. The retailer can simply view the order, pick and pack the products and when its ready, mark the order as ready for collection.
Orders can be collected from each retailer and taken to a central pick up point, or customers can choose to collect directly from each retailer, saving time and making the shopping process effortless.
Customer payments are made using Stripe and supports Credit Cards, AliPay and WeChat Pay. All payments are processed directly through to the retailers using Omnyfy’s integrated Marketplace Commercials Management solution.
Having a marketplace launched in less than a week was no mean feat, but working with the team at Mirvac made it all possible. With solid co-ordination on retailer onboarding and strong focus on delivering a simple yet usable and useful experience to customers, the Mirvac Express Marketplace for Moonee Ponds laid the framework for multiple centres to follow. Omnyfy is now working to launch a portfolio of centres starting with Rhodes Waterside, which was launched in 3 days.
